Every day from 06:18 to 18:33, line 1 runs from the train station towards the city center. You can get off at Gröper Straße and reach the museum after a 5-minute walk. If you are making a round trip, it is recommended that you purchase a day ticket. Changes to the timetables must be checked on the website of Halberstädter Verkehrs GmbH. https://www.stadtverkehr-halberstadt.de/

The museum is closed on the Jewish holidays Rosh ha-Shanah (New Year) and Yom Kippur (Feast of Atonement). You can find further information under News.

The public parking lot “Parkplatz am Dom”, Unter den Weiden 11, is only a few meters away from the museum.
The permanent exhibition is written in German as well as in English.
The Jewish cemeteries can only be visited in the company of Berend Lehmann Museum staff. Therefore, we ask for advance notification.
We do not have publicly accessible WLAN in our house.
The Restaurant | Café Hirsch is located in the old Kantorenhaus directly at the DenkOrt in Bakenstraße 57. Opening hours: Tuesday – Sunday 11:00 -17:00.
In order to protect the exhibits, we ask that you do not eat in the museum.
In the Mikwenhaus, the animated films of the exhibition can be viewed in the entrance area. Since the Berend Lehmann Museum is housed in historic half-timbered houses, the exhibition rooms are only accessible via stairs. Unfortunately, there is no elevator available. For individual arrangements please contact us.
Children are welcome.
Dogs are welcome. In the event of a large number of visitors, we ask that large dogs be tied up outside.
